By simply submitting an invitation via email or message, you will be given a unique Meeting ID which you will receive at Zoom so that you are able to bypass login requirements. In addition to being able to share hosting privileges with another user, this feature allows the co-host to run the meeting administratively, such as managing participants or starting and stopping recording when asked.

The host is responsible for assigning a co-host. It is not permitted for alternative hosts to schedule meetings on behalf of their hosts. Use scheduling privilege to schedule meetings for users other than your hosts. If the host specifies a second licensed user to handle scheduling the meeting, the alternative host will be appointed and the meeting can begin on his or her behalf.
